Our Company

For over fifteen years, Westwind Consulting has been offering the highest quality project management services to industry and government, including project management, project audits, and project management training. Because project management is increasingly important to organizations, we have now focused our experience and knowledge on training project managers. We have conducted courses in Canada, the United States, Malaysia, and the Philippines and we are expanding globally.

Our clients have included academia, engineering companies, consulting companies, public utilities, telecommunications companies, and government departments as diverse as health, highways, and technology.

Our courses include basic, advanced, and specialized project management, and training on Microsoft Project®. They are directed toward technology, engineering, information systems, government, and telecommunications organizations. Our focus is on managing technology projects, but we have taught successful courses to participants in marketing, communications, construction, manufacturing, and law.

The training is customized to the requirements of each customer through our exclusive Pre-Training Assessment© process, so that we can deliver training that meets the customer’s needs both in terms of content and scheduling.

All participants in our courses receive a user manual, copies of the overheads, and a set of useful forms and checklists. Where the customer approves, we also provide a CD with all course materials and an electronic copy of our principal’s book, Information Systems Project Management, Second Edition (AMACOM, 2005).

We are capable of delivering our courses in any location in the world, although all courses are delivered in English.

Some of our clients offer our courses as public training, open to their customers, while others offer them in-house to their own staff. We are pleased to handle both types of requirement. Also, we are pleased to enter into partnership agreements with consulting and training companies allowing them to offer our courses under their own name.
